Fresh
Fall is my favorite time of year. While I love the summer and going to the beach, the minute the air changes and I get a hint of that crispness that comes with Fall, I feel alive. Maybe it’s ingrained in me since my school days. Going back to school was always something I anticipated with joy. I was a nerd. I loved the smell of pencils and books and shopping for school supplies and school clothes. September always marked the start of the year for me, way more than January 1st. That’s why I so enjoy shopping for new clothes in the Fall. It’s a chance to finally feel dressed again. Here are some of my favorite things this season, and where I can, I have included a more affordable alternative. Keep in mind, if you’re trying to shop sustainable items, it’s is going to cost you more. But we can’t all afford that, so if there’s something you love, I’ve tried to provide an affordable version.
I have been adding more of my photography to my Society 6 shop. These are all originals photos that are available printed on various mediums – paper prints, canvas, framed paper prints, metal prints, wood, tapestry, wallpaper and some even as products, such as stools, coffee tables, side tables, credenzas or backpacks, pouches, tote bags and shirts.
Finding the right mascara is always tricky. There are plenty of drug-store brands that work well enough, but finding that one mascara that lengthens and thickens without clumping, that doesn’t dry out, that separates the lashes just so – that’s a magical thing. Enter Pat McGrath Labs Fetisheyes Mascara. Game changer.
