Book Review: Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng

Book Review: Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng

Celeste Ng’s Little Fires Everywhere had me turning pages so fast that I flew through this book in two days. The characters build and capture your heart as their secrets unfold and as you get closer to the end of the book, you start to see the whole picture and how it all connects. It leaves you thinking about each character and imagining what became of them. I don’t want to give anything away, but I was impressed with the Ng’s skill to weave a story, create sympathetic characters, turn your heart inside out and still leave room for hope. I found myself sad at the end, already missing these people I wanted to know more. There’s a movie coming starring Reese Witherspoon. I’ll let you guess who she’s playing – don’t look it up! I recommend this book, it’s a perfect beach companion. Click above link to get a copy!
