Happy November!
We’ve had some wicked windy weather up here in the North East…though I can’t complain when I see what’s happening around the rest of the country. That said, those firefighters on the west coast are heroes, help out if you can.
We’re just starting to get some chilly weather and it calls for some serious comfort food. It’s the perfect time for something warming and nourishing like ramen bowls. This recipe is a go-to for us, I left out the nori because Jason doesn’t like it.
I declared last winter as the winter of the dress since it was warm enough that I wore dresses and boots with no stocking all winter long. I’m already declaring this winter as the winter of the sweater. I feel a cold one coming on and I’ve been cleaning my favorite sweaters and purchasing a few sustainable new ones. I love the oversized v-neck cashmere by Everlane – and it’s sustainable, too! Here’s another option that’s more affordable.
Seriously though, the best way to shop sustainably is to shop vintage or thrift. Here are some of my favorites: Hard Travelin’ Vintage, Guermantes Vintage, and Flying Apple Vintage.
I love this company that will make shoes out of your design. They chose my Luxe boots as a Staff Pick. Get your pair now. And here’s a coupon code for $30 off: VYTEBBHSLVI. They are pricey, but they are quality and hand made in Italy. If these are a little too wild for you, here are some other styles.
New art is now available on Society6 shop. We set the clocks back this weekend and more sunlight in the morning, so rise & shine people!
