For a girl who barely ever buys make-up, this month I bought and tried two new things! It’s almost unheard of for me. I saw this on Instagram. I’m not a big Kat Von D fan, but the woman does know make-up. This is her duo of Bow n Arrow – the arrow being the liquid black eyeliner and the bow the lipstick/gloss. I saw it first on a pale skinned, dark haired model and it looked so much more dramatic on her than it does on me. I’m also terrible at applying liquid liner – usually all I do is smudge some purple shadow in the crease of my eyelid and call it a day. Shaky hands don’t help with liquid liner. BUT, I LOVE the lipstick. It’s a muted, matte brownish-pink shade that I think will work on just about anyone…and will look different on everyone depending on their coloring. On me, it looks very natural and not at all high-drama. I like that. Thumbs up for this duo. I was really affordable and it arrived quickly in all black gothy packaging. It was just a little smushed. I blame the postal service.
