Hi, I’m Faye. By day I’m a Creative Director working in the tourism & travel industry. I live in a coastal community in Southern Rhode Island with my husband, Jason and our two Siamese cats, Pandora and MacGyver and our snowshoe kitten Grayson Gatsby aka the muffin. My husband and I love to travel. He’s traveled far more extensively than I have, and I’m making up for lost time. Follow our adventures on the Frolic page. We also love to cook. Friends have asked me for years when am I going to start a food blog. But food isn’t my only interest – although it ranks very close to the top. The Food page will contain recipes and food adventures. I started The Faye Files to share my love of food, travel and some of my other passions. I’m just starting to learn photography, so on the Foto page I’ll share any tips I’ve learned and some of my photography. Fashion is a life-long passion. As a short, curvy girl, finding the right clothes that are classy yet trendy without being frumpy is a challenge. Under Fashion you can read reviews of beauty products, fashion finds and more. In this day and age with everyone watching HGTV and all these home improvement shows, who isn’t into home decor? In Furnish I’d like to share some of my home improvement and decorating projects and hopefully you’ll share some of your own. Lastly, I have always been a writer at heart and Fiction is where I’ll share my writing, what I’m reading and some insight into my process and struggles. I encourage fellow writers to share as well.
What is the meaning of life if you’re not sharing? Sharing ideas, sharing recipes, sharing stories – these are the things that connect us as people. We learn and grow a great deal through sharing. I hope you’ll comment and share your own tips, stories and ideas.
